We have two grant periods each year, one for each of our focus areas.

MISSION: We are dedicated to the conservation and protection of native ecosystems, farm and forestlands, watersheds, and scenic landscapes for the benefit of wild and human communities in western Maine.

NOURISHMENT

MISSION: We educate generations of food growers, environmental stewards and community contributors through experiential education in orchards and gardens.

We envision thriving Maine communities rooted in reciprocal relationships with nature. We see people connecting with, eating from, and caring for Maine's farms, woods, and waters.
