The Quimby Family Foundation has been awarding yearly grants since 2005. We proudly partner with non-profits throughout the state of Maine to promote Human Wholeness. To us, Human Wholeness is physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health and we believe in the inherent value of nature to advance all four.

Mahoosuc Land Trust

Mission: The mission of Mahoosuc Land Trust (MLT) is to protect and conserve land and traditional land uses, including farming, forestry, recreation, significant habitats, scenery, and water resources, for the benefit of the public.

QFF Grant: Funds will support an ecological assessment and multi-year plans, based on visioning process outcomes, for Valentine Farm. The Mahoosuc Land Trust recently acquired 144 acres of open fields, woods and river frontage located minutes from downtown Bethel and within a 20-minute drive from the greater Rumford area. The Valentine Farm is MLT’s first property with an array of potential land use opportunities.
