The Quimby Family Foundation has been awarding yearly grants since 2005. We proudly partner with non-profits throughout the state of Maine to promote Human Wholeness. To us, Human Wholeness is physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health and we believe in the inherent value of nature to advance all four.

Frenchman Bay Conservancy

Mission: FBC conserves distinctive ecosystems and landscapes for the benefit of all, from the Union River and Frenchman Bay watersheds east to the Hancock County line.

QFF Grant: Funding will support FBC's co-leadership in a collaborative group effort to transform Ellsworth into a model livable community with green spaces that work for people and nature and a smart growth plan for future. The process will be equitable, by outlining working principles, hiring an experienced facilitator, and reaching out to new community members. The outcome will elevate the voices of those in the City that are disadvantaged and ensure the Green Plan incorporates their needs.
