The Quimby Family Foundation has been awarding yearly grants since 2005. We proudly partner with non-profits throughout the state of Maine to promote Human Wholeness. To us, Human Wholeness is physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health and we believe in the inherent value of nature to advance all four.

FARMS

Mission: Focus on Agriculture in Rural Maine Schools (FARMS), founded in 2004, works to engage school-age children, their family members of all ages, and their Lincoln County communities in making healthier eating choices.

QFF Grant: Funding will be used to increase access to sustainable eating programs. Specifically, the grant will expand their effort to reach significant segments of Lincoln County population that are not being served. This includes nutrition lesson/cooking classes at the community kitchen, nutrition lesson/cooking classes at schools new to their program, and they will provide cooking demonstrations/taste tests at Lincoln County food pantries.
