The Quimby Family Foundation has been awarding yearly grants since 2005. We proudly partner with non-profits throughout the state of Maine to promote Human Wholeness. To us, Human Wholeness is physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health and we believe in the inherent value of nature to advance all four.

Wolfe’s Neck Farm
To support the Teen Ag program in 2014. The goal in 2014 is to broaden the impact of Teen Ag by:
• Increasing the number of participating teens from 4 to 6 and continuing to infuse a sense of civic engagement in the participants by giving them an opportunity to supply nutritious food to neighbors in need while engaging them in the daily operations of WNF.
• Purchasing two 36 foot hoop houses that would allow Teen Ag to extend the growing season by starting more vegetable seedlings to produce early and late crops of vegetables.
• Establishing a wholesale purchasing partnership with the Good Shepherd Food Bank that will allow WNF’s teen farmers to grow and deliver produce that fulfills a demand in the Mainers Feeding Mainers program.
