The Quimby Family Foundation has been awarding yearly grants since 2005. We proudly partner with non-profits throughout the state of Maine to promote Human Wholeness. To us, Human Wholeness is physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health and we believe in the inherent value of nature to advance all four.

Rufus Porter Museum
General operating support for continued funding for two interns from May through August. Reaching beyond program development and delivery, internship experiences are designed to foster the growth and development of the next generation of museum professionals. These positions consistently attract highly qualified graduate students who have a focus on museum research, traditional arts, and history, and several have received university credit as a part of their work.
